Using it is a frugal way around the expense of having custom images created for you to turn one photo into multiple images. “Cropping” is an easy photo editing technique where you trim down a full sized imaged to a smaller image(s). With your professionally edited high resolution images, this can be done without worrying too much about losing details in image quality.
If you want to be able to avail yourself of this sweet little hack, be sure to let your photographer know that you want high resolution digital photos. Note that some photographers may not want you editing their photos. Understandably so, it is their work and what you put out there will be a representation of them. Check with them to make sure they are okay with you cropping images.
